Onisillos Hotel - Larnaca

Decent air conditioning kept the room comfortable during hot days. Showers provided consistent hot water, a rarity in budget accommodations.

Toilet seat was broken, and the towel holder in the bathroom needed fixing. The room lacked cleanliness, with dim lighting contributing to an unwelcoming atmosphere. The hotel closed at night without prior notice, leaving me unable to re-enter until morning. This caused a taxi miscommunication that nearly made me miss my flight. Water pressure in the shower was just a trickle.

Comfort level is minimal, but perfectly in line with what one could expect from the room rates. Also, proximity to Finikoudes beach and intercity bus stops is a plus.

The whole hotel would need to be refreshed (carpets, tv ... all dating back to the 70's), although this is no biggie when staying only for one nite

It's a newly remodelled hotel with sea views, we had a pleasant experience. The staff were happy to help, everyone so especially helpful and top-class. The property was located in the heart of Larnaca. The breakfast was good especially the tea and bakery. The service was good, including a quick check-in: )

There was nothing I didn't like.

Warm welcome but room woes

The hotel's location is very convenient, just a short walk from the local dining scene and more authentic experiences beyond the usual tourist spots. The manager is always friendly and makes an effort to greet guests.

Unfortunately, the room felt dated with flickering lights and inconsistent hot water. The overall condition could use some improvement, and the lobby cleanliness was less than inviting.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from local bars and restaurants that are less touristy and more authentic.

The room had visible signs of neglect, including loose tiles and a stained carpet, which detracted from the overall comfort.

We had to stay only one night before taking our flight early morning, so we selected the hotel for one of the very few in Cyprus allowing pets and for the location near the airport. Kind staff

The location was particularly good and stunning, close to a bus station, so it was really easy to travel around. The hotel was close to the heart of the Larnaca...

The location is excellent. The air conditioning worked well, and the hot water was consistent. The rooms could use some updates, as they felt dated and had flickering lights. It's a budget option for a short stay but expect some basic amenities.

Costas, the owner of the place, is a very interesting person...

4 cockroaches.... 'could kill 3 and slept a night with the last one! They were very fast... Concerning the general smell of the room, I don't advice anybody to walk in it without shoes: the carpet is probably from the mid 70's and I don't think it had ever been cleaned... An original and cheap experience, fortunately just for a night.

Right at home. The manager was particularly helpful, often checking in to see if we needed anything. The room itself was a bit outdated. It provided a unique charm that added character to my stay.

I really enjoyed my time here, especially when the staff quickly took care of a small issue with the shower and the comfy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to relax after exploring. There's a nice sun terrace to chill out on and a cozy TV lounge for some downtime. My only hiccup was the bathroom could use an update, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. 😊

It was just an ideal choice for a weekend break in Larnaca with good value for price. The air conditioning worked really well, a big help during the hot days. Try to ask for a room with good Wi-Fi reception.
